Anger management classes are commonly taken and used to gain skills to better manage and control anger and stress. Most of these courses are designed to improve coping skills and reduce instances of violent or hostile behaviors.
For over 7 years we have been providing anger management classes. Classes are offered both in person as well as online. Regardless of the format, participants can expect to learn skills in a variety of areas. Most notably, skills in assertive communication, stress management, empathy and emotional intelligence, forgiveness, expectation management, and learning to respond instead of react.
Anger Classes are frequently taken for court ordered requirements as well as for personal growth. If for a court requirement, the course length is usually determined by the court; otherwise, our most common length class is a
12 hour anger class online program.
Learning to control anger is a life long process. While classes themselves can be effective, it is the practicing of the skills learned over time that make the difference in sustaining change.
