Anger is Normal, Behavior is Controllable
Anger itself is a perfectly normal human response to things we find irritating, intimidating or frustrating. Depending on your personality, this emotion can vary from mild annoyance to high conflict rage. Many individuals are able to control their angry responses because they don’t want to escalate the situation or know how to effectively communicate to resolve things. For others however, the rush of the adrenaline that kick starts the nervous system has an almost addictive affect. This energy gives the person the feeling of power, which can escalate and cause problems in every day life with loved ones, friends, at work, and even with the law.
Boston residents most tragically felt the repercussions of uncontrolled aggressive anger with the recent Marathon bombings. While anger in itself can be productive and motivational when used wisely, it’s what you do with your anger that can cause trouble. If you find yourself struggling with your angry emotions, the good news is that you can make a change and learn to take control and manage it.

Boston Anger Management Issues
According to Fox News polls, the Boston Marathon bombing has “sparked more anger than fear among Americans”. This act of senseless aggression has caused people to feel violated and full of rage. During this stressful time, it’s important that residents of Massachusetts, a state boasting its leadership in higher education, take the time and energy to learn how to appropriately channel their anger and distrust. Anger Class Online is available to learn the skills necessary to understand the triggers, and utilize new skills to best handle the resulting emotions, in the privacy of your own home.
Road Rage Violations
Boston is among the top cities in the country with highly aggressive driving behavior. It is the largest city in Massachusetts with about 626,000 people living within its confines and about 1.2 million during the average workday. Generally, inhabitants are highly educated and the city is among the 30 most economically powerful in the world. All of this business intensity, years of dealing with the Big Dig and legions of commuters contribute to crazy driving habits. In fact, in 2003 over 5,300 people suffered incapacitating injuries and 462 people died in crashes. While road rage has not yet been legally defined in the state, drivers can expect to be cited for speeding, endangering others with verbal or physical behavior, tailgating and generally wreckless driving habits. If this is you, it’s time to try an anger management class to learn calming and stress reduction skills.
Massachusetts Client Testimonial
“Anger Class Online was a life saver! I had to take a 12-hour court ordered class after an altercation at work. It was interesting and I learned new ways to calm myself down before blowing up again and causing any more scenes. Thank you Dr. Novick!” Gary T. – Newton, MA
