Residents of the Evergreen State often rely on anger class online to provide a convenient, interesting and low cost approach to learn the skills necessary to gain control of their angry behavior. Anger Class Online for Washington residents is designed to fulfill court, employment or self-improvement needs. The goal of our program is to teach participants how to identify the source and understand the triggers of their anger, and implement specific skills to manage the resulting behavior in a more positive way.
Anger is an emotion that we all experience in different ways. It is generally a reaction to feelings of being taken advantage of, intimidated, hurt or frustration.
In American culture, in some families it is more acceptable to say that you are angry than expressing your true underlying feelings. This is fine, if you are able to properly control your response in an effective and calm manner. The way one responds to anger is generally learned from childhood experiences and can be changed by mastering stress management, learning more effective ways to communicate with others, improving empathy, changing the way you talk to yourself in your mind, and allowing forgiveness to be a part of your life.

Clients often ask us what the difference is between the course lengths. The answer is that all of the classes cover the same topics but the longer the class length, the deeper the discussion on each subject. Generally, if you are taking the program for a court requirement, they will tell you how long of a class you need to take.
No Hidden Fees
Participants can print out a Proof of Enrollment immediately after registering for the course. Just call our office to request Progress Reports along the way. Once you have finished the class, we will send the Certificate of Completion via USPS at no additional cost. We can also fax it or email it to other destinations if necessary. In addition, we can make the Certificate available for you to download and print out from your computer.
Backed By 100% Refund Policy
Anger Class Online is the premier online learning program in the country. Our classes are based on the most recent research and are designed by Dr. Ari Novick, Ph.D., a Certified Anger Management Specialist, Trainer and Family Therapist. While we have experienced success with our courses in areas like Burien, Richland, Seattle, Pullman and Tacoma, we always suggest that our clients get prior approval to take a distance-learning course for their particular legal requirements from their judge, probation officer, social worker or attorney. If, after taking the course, you find out that the legal system will not accept it, we offer a total refund. All we ask is that you fax us the written proof of decline within 60 days of class purchase. We will in turn credit your card back 100%.
Anger Management Issues In Washington State
Washington is a great place to live. It has something for every outdoorsman from high mountain ranges to lakes to the Pacific Ocean. It is the 13th most populated state with about 60% of the population residing in the Seattle area where such big companies as Starbucks, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Nordstrom and Amazon have their headquarters. The state is one of only 7 that doesn’t have a personal income tax. It also boasts the highest percentage of non-religious people and lowest rate of church membership of any of the 50 states.
A serious anger control issue that the state continues to face is the level of domestic violence. Studies show that between 2009 and 2012, domestic violence assaults were up 60% from previous years. Experts believe that this may have to due with the economic recession during that same time period. As more people were out of work, at home and frustrated, more abuse took place.
DV laws in Washington state require the police officer to make an arrest if there is any probable cause that an assault has taken place by an intimate partner within the preceding 4 hours. Assaults are defined as slapping, pushing, shoving, other physical actions, and/or threats to the victim's life. If the abuser is charged or arrested, a “No contact Order” may be issued to keep the abuser from returning home. If you plead guilty to the crime you might face jail time, fines, probation, a 12-month domestic violence treatment program, a no-contact order, loss of your right to possess firearms, and loss of rights of custody and visitation with your kids. Many of our clients who choose to take anger management classes on their own, do so to prevent things from escalating this far.
Washington Client Testimonial
“Loved the convenience of taking this class from home! I was court ordered to take 12 hours of anger management as a plea bargain in my child custody case. The judge allowed me to take it online because I’m a nurse and not able to get to 12 weekly meetings in a row. The class was easy to understand, informative and gave me some new tools to use to help me prevent myself from blowing up whenever I’m frustrated. Thank you Dr. Novick!” Nicholas G. – Olympia, WA
